摘要： The invention relates to a method for the automatic resetting of limits for access controls for restricting traffic in a communications network composed of network nodes/routers and connecting routes/links. In said network, data packets are forwarded according to the Internet protocol and the network contains control entities for carrying out the access controls. The link weightings and limits for the access controls are calculated and stored for a periodically recurring time interval and with each recurrence of said time interval the limits stored for the latter are transmitted to corresponding control entities for carrying out the access restriction. The invention permits the adaptation of limits for access control during a periodically recurring time interval prior to the measured detection of the offered traffic.

摘要： An implementing method of multiple service flows resource application comprises: after the bearing network resource manager CM receives the connection resource request message including the resource applications of at least two service flows, CM respectively allocates the paths for each service flow in the management field and reserves the corresponding resource; then, CM further sends the paths and the reserving resource allocated for each service flow to the edge router for the service flows accessing to the bearing network. The implementation according to the present invention makes that one service connection may apply the corresponding resource for multiple service flows together, thereby it effectively supports the development of plenty of Qos services of the application layer, shortens the signaling interaction processes in the devices by a long way, and saves the network traffic and the time occupied by the resource application.

摘要： The present invention provides a method and system for estimating the optimum service rate or bandwidth requirement (BWR) for a switch or router in a communications network for a particular traffic flow which contains elastic traffic, i.e. traffic subject to a feedback mechanism. The invention provides an iterative technique to estimate the optimum service rate from calculated BWRs for the particular traffic flow without initially knowing the precise form of the BWR for various service rates at a buffer of a switch. This is done by initially configuring a service capacity, calculating the BWR to configure a new service capacity and repeating this until the calculated BWR and configured service capacity coincide.

摘要： The invention relates to a WLL system, which unites the independent networks that access the PSTN (13) and Internet (18) and whose subscriber stations have an a/b connection (6) and an Ethernet interface (8) for direct access to the Internet. Said resources are independent of one another and can be used simultaneously. The network that accesses the Internet constitutes a virtual wireless LAN with a star configuration, which terminates in Ethernets at the base station (1) and subscriber stations (9). Said Ethernets operate independently of one another and are interconnected by a bridge function. The subdivided IP and OA & M data and the POTS signalling are transmitted for each subscriber station by means of a respective common layer 2 connection. Useful data of the POTS connections is transmitted separately as a compressed voice transmission, T.38 fax transmission, or transparent modem transmission of 64kbps with automatic recognition and switching. The system operates with a DS CDM/CDMA sequence and an embedded TDM/TDMA and TDD and can be used in particular when a wired telecommunications infrastructure cannot be achieved in the short-term, cannot be achieved at all, or can only be achieved at great expense.
