摘要： For enabling to obtain automatically a proper identifier of a remote terminal and to assign an identification number to the remote terminal in order to perform communication control of a data transmission system wherein upward communication is performed according to a TDMA system and downward communication is performed according to a TDM system making use of cells having fixed length; a local station of the system comprises: a command-cell generation timer (112) for generating a command-cell generation trigger periodically, a command-cell generating unit (113) for generating a command cell to be downward transmitted every time the command-cell generation trigger is supplied by writing an available identification number therein, a window generation timer (111) for enabling a window signal every time the command-cell generation trigger is supplied for inhibiting transmission of upward cells from the remote terminals whereto identification numbers are assigned, a control-data-cell generating/terminating unit (107) for detecting a newly installed remote terminal by receiving a control data cell during the window signal is enabled, wherein a proper identifier of the newly installed remote terminal is written, and a terminal management unit (109) for assigning the available identification number to the newly installed remote terminal.

摘要： In the network of the invention, telephony and other narrow band services are provided using twisted pairs via existing fiber-in-the-loop (FITL) technology while the analog video and digital broadcast video are carried over a single coaxial cable to the customer premise. All customer subscriber lines are moved out of the central office and are distributed in the outside distribution plant via FITL technology. Data and digital video from the central office are distributed to a large number of field located optical network units (ONU) as ATM signals over optical fibers. The narrowband signals are converted to a SONET virtual tributary group and are combined with the digital video signals for delivery to the home.

Thus the transition point for converting the mobile radio net-specific coded data can be locally and flexibly established during a dynamic change in the number of redundant transmission paths (macro-diversity), where a combination point combines the last two transmission paths or divides the single transmission path.

Die sich hierdurch ergebenden Prüfbits (P) werden für die Dauer eines Taktschrittes gespeichert. Die jeweils aktuellen und die gespeicherten Prüfbits dienen gemeinsam zum Ermitteln des Zentrums der sich zeigenden Übereinstimmungen. Der Seriellausgang (43.0 - 43.7) desjenigen Schieberegisters (33.0 - 33.7), das dem jeweiligen Zentrum entspricht, gibt anschliessend die Abtastwerte des jeweiligen Pakets ab.
