摘要： A predictive coding device has an input terminal through which a sampled value (x i ) is input, a predicting circuit for outputting a predicted value (x̂) i for the sampled value which has been input through the input terminal, and a look-up table (12) arranged to receive, as a readout address, the sampled value (x i ) input through the input terminal and the predicted value (x̂ i ) and then to output a predictive coded value ( x i ).
