An input is receptive of user preferences relating to redelivery of skipped advertising content, and a redelivery module redelivers skipped advertising content to the user in accordance with the user preferences. In another aspect, skipped advertising content is redelivered to the user in a non-intrusive manner that does not interfere with user enjoyment of primary media content.
