The frame is attached to two fixed panels (11, 12). Upper/lower tracks (15,16) are attached above/below the window opening. Each track has a leading (28a,b) and a trailing guide (29a,b) path formed through a surface of the respective tracks, where the pins partially project into the guide paths and where load-bearing shoulder surfaces (24a-d) smoothly and reliably slide on the track surfaces. Each leading guide patz (28a,b) is "S" shaped and each trailing guide path (29a,b) is shaped in a perpendicular manner at one end, which causes the sliding panel (20') to smoothly enter and seal the window opening in a flush manner. An aesthetically pleasing flush-flush slider results when the sliding panel is in the plane of the window opening and further in the plane of the outer vehicle body panel.

摘要： A method of affixing a specialized dual durometer gasket to a substrate is disclosed. The method utilizes a fixture (10) having a channel (12) formed therein, into which the dual durometer gasket (24) is inserted and held in place by, for example, a vacuum. Alternatively, a removable form may be inserted into the channel, and the elastomeric member/gasket (24) is inserted into the removable form. A suitable substrate is precisely positioned on the fixture above the channel containing the gasket. An adhesion promoting primer (34) may be applied to the substrate, and an adhesive is applied to the gasket (24), or to the substrate, so that upon application of a lifting force, the gasket is raised from the channel into bonding contact with the substrate.

摘要： Automatic heating controls for heating of glass sheets and methods utilizing such controls are provided so that area temperatures approach plus or minus 1 degree Fahrenheit of area desired temperatures, in a steady state operation through a furnace having heaters. Area temperatures and area desired temperatures are combined to obtain area temperature errors. The area temperature errors, area setpoint temperatures, and a comparison of adjacent area temperatures and/or area setpoint temperatures are then applied to integral-only feedback control so as to provide area furnace system demand. For thick glass (i.e., greater than approximately 3mm thickness) core temperatures are included to obtain temperature errors. Then, area furnace system demand is utilized to adjust the heat output of the heaters, the speed of the transport system, or both. Following a gap in the flow of glass sheets, the area temperatures are returned to steady state operation within 10 minutes.
