    • The invention relates to an assembly for handling an implant (1) to be inserted into bones. Said assembly comprises a transfer cap (2), which can be removably plugged onto the implant (1), and comprises an adapter (3), which engages with the implant (1) in a positive manner. An internal or external polygonal socket (17), an outer implant shoulder (11) and a shoulder edge (110) located underneath the implant shoulder (11) are provided on the implant head (10). The transfer cap (2) has a contact surface (25), which is complementary to the implant shoulder (11), and has an elastic lip (26) that engages over the shoulder edge (110). The adapter (3) comprises a polygonal projection (30), which is intended for engaging inside the polygonal socket (17) on the implant (1). A plug-type extension (33) of the adapter (3) is provided for attaching a screw-in instrument. When the transfer cap (2) is plugged onto the implant (1) and when the adapter (3) is inserted, the polygonal projection (30) thereof engages with the polygonal socket (17) on the implant (1). The plug-type extension (33) of the adapter (3) that projects through the transfer cap (2) is located on the outside. The transfer cap (2) and the adapter (3) plugged therein are detachably connected to one another.

    • The present invention relates to a new and improved low-concentration formulation of an active enamel substance, such as an enamel matrix, enamel matrix derivative and/or an enamel matrix protein, intended to be used as therapeutic, as prophylactic and/or as cosmetic agent. In the present invention, said active enamel substance is incorporated into a polymeric matrix, which is either suitable for cellular in-growth, or cell-occlusive. The active enamel substance can be incorporated into the polymeric matrix so that it is released by degradation of the polymeric matrix, by enzymatic action and/or by diffusion.
      Comprised in the invention is thus in particular a new pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic formulation of an active enamel substance at a lower total concentration within the formulation, wherein a spatial and/or selective regulation of release of said active enamel substance permits a greater percentage of the active enamel substance to be released at the time of appropriate cellular activity.
