摘要： Provided is a seal ring configured so that stable lubrication performance can be provided across a wide range of rotation speed. A seal ring 1 for sealing a clearance between a rotary shaft 2 and a housing 3 includes inclined grooves 15 formed at a sliding surface S1 so as to be arranged in a circumferential direction, the inclined grooves 15 being open on an outer diameter side of the seal ring 1 to generate a drawing pressure. The seal ring 1 further includes supply grooves 13 being open on a sealed fluid side of the seal ring 1 and extending in a radially outward direction toward inner diameter sides of the inclined grooves 15.

摘要： To provide a seal ring capable of suppressing wear of a mating housing and preventing protrusion from an annular groove and thereby being superior in low leak performance, which is an original object of the seal ring. A seal ring 1 formed of resin is attached to an annular groove 12 formed on an outer periphery of a butterfly valve 11 having a substantially disc shape so as to seal an annular gap 14 between the butterfly valve 11 and a housing 13 in which the valve is housed. A part of the seal ring 1 is protruded from the annular groove 12, so that the seal ring 1 adheres to the housing 13 to seal the annular gap 14 due to pressure from sealed fluid. A radial direction thickness t of the ring is set in a range of 7-11% of a ring outer diameter in a free state. A ring inner diameter in a state in which the diameter is enlarged due to pressure from the sealed fluid when the valve is opened, is smaller than an outer diameter r of the valve.

摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sealing device equipped with a combination seal obtained by combining a first ring made of resin and a second ring made of a rubber-like elastic material, wherein the sealing device is less susceptible to a reduction in sealing ability even if creep occurs in the first ring, and thereby exhibits excellent sealing ability. To achieve said purpose, a cut section is provided at one place on the circumference of the first ring made of resin. The cut section has step cut forms in which portions of the cut surfaces of the first ring are configured as protrusions as a result of said portions protruding past the other portions in the circumferential direction, and has bias cuts configured as sloped surfaces as a result of cutting the leading edges of the protrusions diagonally. Furthermore, the length of the sloped surfaces in the circumferential direction is set to a size equal to or less than half the length of the protrusions in the circumferential direction.
