摘要： An inlet 2, a valve chest 3 having a diameter larger than that of the inlet 2, and an outlet 4 are formed in a valve casing 1. An annular valve seat 5 is formed between the inlet 2 and the valve chest 3. A valve element 6 for opening and closing the annular valve seat 5 is disposed within the valve chest 3. A valve stem 7 is projectingly provided on the inlet 2 side of the valve element 6.
A guide member 12 with which an outer periphery of the valve stem 7 comes into sliding contact is provided at inner ends of ribs 9 and 10 which project into the valve chest 3 from an inner wall of the inlet 2. A recess 20 is formed in the valve element 6 to receive therein the ribs 9 and 10 projecting to the valve element 3 side and also receive the guide member 12.

摘要： A positive displacement pump (50) includes a relief valve comprising a valve seat (61), a needle (62) within the valve seat, a spring (63) forcing the needle within the valve seat, a set screw (65) pressing the spring against the needle and a spacer (64) for mounting the set screw to the housing of the positive displacement pump. The valve seat threadably connects within the relief valve passageway to prevent the erosion of the passageway. The valve seat may be constructed from a plastic, hard rubber, or metal material and include a rubberized seal secured at one end of the valve seat. When the valve seat erodes to a point where it provides an insufficient seat for the needle, it is removed from within the relief valve passageway and replaced with a similar valve seat. By protecting the relief valve passageway from erosion by using an inexpensive, removable, and disposable valve seat, costly disposal or machining of the housing of the positive displacement pump is avoided.

摘要： @ A pressure regulating solenoid valve is disclosed which comprises a valve body (29) having a flow path (F) therethrough having an inlet (31) and an outlet (33). The valve body (29) has a main valve seat (37) within the flow path (F), and a main valve member (35) mounted within the valve body (29) for movement between an open position, in which the main valve member (35) is clear of the main valve seat (37) for the primary flow of fluid between the inlet (31) and outlet (33), and a closed position in which the main valve member (35) engages the main valve seat (37) so as to block the primary flow of fluid through the main valve seat (37). A spring biased combination throttling valve/check valve (91) is interposed within the flow path between the upstream and downstream sides of the main valve seat (37) so as to permit a secondary flow of fluid from the inlet (31) to the outlet (33) of the valve body (29) when the main valve (35) is closed and when the pressure differential of the flow between the inlet (31) and the outlet (33) is above a predetermined value.
