摘要： @ Weighing conditions depending on the kind of article being weighed and on the target value for the weighing operation are entered as a set of reserved values by a data input unit, and the set of reserved values is written into a memory of a storage unit by a write control unit. The storage unit includes a plurality of the memories, each of which stores a different set of reserved values. A read control unit, in response to an input from the data input unit, selects a required set of reserved values from the corresponding memory of the storage unit, and applies prescribed ones of these values to a combinatorial computation control unit and feeder drive unit. Therefore, when it is necessary to reset weighing conditions whenever there is a change in the kind of article being weighed or in the target value, the resetting operation is performed merely by calling the desired weighing conditions, namely the set of reserved values, from memory.

Articles are discharged from those weighing machines which give such a total weight combination. For such combinatorial computation, means are provided to detect any weighing machine that is empty of articles among the weighing machines involved in the combinatorial computation, and then articles are supplied to any such weighing machine that has not been supplied with articles.
In one cycle of combinatorial computation, a certain number or fewer weighing machines are selected from the weighing machines other than those selected for discharging articles in the previous cycle, and combinatorial computation is effected on the selected weighing machines for combinatorial weighing operation. First, whether there can be found a weight combination in the allowable preset range is determined, and, if not, a new combination of weighing machines is selected from all weighing machines for the next cycle.

摘要： A supply trough (6) on a metallic fitting (32) is mounted on a mounting base (30), the supply trough being vibrated by a pneumatic vibrator (35) to effect vibratory transport of articles placed on the trough. The vibrator (35) is mounted directly on the metallic fitting (32), which is mounted in turn on the mounting base (30) through the intermediary of rubber dampers (33). Such an arrangement can permit the supply trough, when soiled through repeated use, to be washed with water without being demounted. The rubber dampers can be designed to ensure that most of the vibratory force produced by the pneumatic vibrator is used as a force for transporting articles along the supply trough.
