摘要： A solar power generation system (10) includes a control system (20) and a DC to AC converter (16) coupled to a photovoltaic (PV) module (14) and for supplying power to a power network (18). The control system includes a power point tracker (22) to extract either maximum power available from the PV module or less than maximum power available from the PV module, a frequency monitor (24) to obtain a network frequency from the power network, an internal reference frame element (26) to provide an internal reference frequency of the solar power generation system, a frequency comparator (28) to compare the network frequency and the internal reference frequency, and a command signal generator (30) to use the frequency comparison to determine whether a transient increase or decrease in commanded output power is warranted and to provide a command signal.

The power conversion system also includes a controller (26) configured to determine a maximum power point for the power conversion system, regulate an output voltage of the single stage inverter, compute a power balance difference between a power demand from the power grid and an output power of the single stage inverter obtainable at the maximum power point and control in real-time the load balancing unit based on the power balance difference.

摘要： A system that includes micro-electromechanical system switching circuitry (12), such as may be made up of a plurality of micro-electromechanical switches (S 1 ... S n ), is provided. The plurality of micro-electromechanical switches may generally operate in a closed switching condition during system operation. A controller (14) is coupled to the electromechanical switching circuitry (12). The controller (14) may be configured to actuate at least one of the micro-electromechanical switches to a temporary open switching condition while a remainder of micro-electromechanical switches remains in the closed switching condition to conduct a load current and avoid interrupting system operation. The temporary open switching condition of the switch is useful to avoid a tendency of switch contacts to stick to one another.
