摘要： An apparatus for generating an audio output signal based on an encoded audio signal spectrum is provided. The apparatus comprises a processing unit (115) for processing the encoded audio signal spectrum to obtain a decoded audio signal spectrum comprising a plurality of spectral coefficients, wherein each of the spectral coefficients has a spectral location within the encoded audio signal spectrum and a spectral value, wherein the spectral coefficients are sequentially ordered according to their spectral location within the encoded audio signal spectrum so that the spectral coefficients form a sequence of spectral coefficients. Moreover, the apparatus comprises a pseudo coefficients determiner (125) for determining one or more pseudo coefficients of the decoded audio signal spectrum, each of the pseudo coefficients having a spectral value. Furthermore, the apparatus comprises a replacement unit (135) for replacing at least one or more pseudo coefficients by a determined spectral pattern to obtain a modified audio signal spectrum, wherein the determined spectral pattern comprises at least two pattern coefficients, wherein each of the at least two pattern coefficients has a spectral value. Moreover, the apparatus comprises a spectrum-time-conversion unit (145) for converting the modified audio signal spectrum to a time-domain to obtain the audio output signal.

摘要： A bandwidth extension encoder for encoding an audio signal comprises a signal analyzer, a core encoder and a parameter calculator. The audio signal comprises a low frequency signal comprising a core frequency band and a high frequency signal comprising an upper frequency band. The signal analyzer is configured for analyzing the audio signal, the audio signal having a block of audio samples, the block having a specified length in time. The signal analyzer is furthermore configured for determining from a plurality of analysis windows an analysis window to be used for performing a bandwidth extension in a bandwidth extension decoder. The core encoder is configured for encoding the low frequency signal to obtain an encoded or frequency signal. The parameter calculator is configured for calculating bandwidth extension parameters from the high frequency signal.

摘要： A processed representation of an audio signal having a sequence of frames is generated by sampling the audio signal within a first and a second frame of the sequence of frames, the second frame following the first frame, the sampling using information on a pitch contour of the first and the second frame to derive a first sampled representation. The audio signal is sampled within the second and the third frame, the third frame following the second frame in the sequence of frames. The sampling uses the information on the pitch contour of the second frame and information on a pitch contour of the third frame to derive a second sampled representation. A first scaling window is derived for the first sampled representation and a second scaling window is derived for the second sampled representation, the scaling windows depending on the samplings applied to derive the first sampled representations or the second sampled representation.

摘要： An audio or video encoder and an audio or video decoder are based on a combination of two audio or video channels (201, 202) to obtain a first combination signal (204) as a mid signal and a residual signal (205) which can be derived using a predicted side signal derived from the mid signal. The first combination signal and the prediction residual signal are encoded (209) and written (212) into a data stream (213) together with the prediction information (206) derived by an optimizer (207) based on an optimization target (208) and a prediction direction indicator indicating a prediction direction associated with the residual signal. A decoder uses the prediction residual signal, the first combination signal, the prediction direction indicator and the prediction information to derive a decoded first channel signal and a decoded second channel signal. In an encoder example or in a decoder example, a real-to-imaginary transform can be applied for estimating the imaginary part of the spectrum of the first combination signal. For calculating the prediction signal used in the derivation of the prediction residual signal, the real-valued first combination signal is multiplied by a real portion of the complex prediction information and the estimated imaginary part of the first combination signal is multiplied by an imaginary portion of the complex prediction information.

摘要： An audio similarity evaluator obtains envelope signals for a plurality of frequency ranges on the basis of an input audio signal. The audio similarity evaluator is configured to obtain a modulation information associated with the envelope signals for a plurality of modulation frequency ranges, wherein the modulation information describes the modulation of the envelope signals. The audio similarity evaluator is configured to compare the obtained modulation information with a reference modulation information associated with a reference audio signal, in order to obtain an information about a similarity between the input audio signal and the reference audio signal. An audio encoder uses such an audio similarity evaluator. Another audio similarity evaluator uses a neural net trained using the audio similarity evaluator.
