The method comprises receiving, via a communication network from an electronic device associated with the user, a first voice command from the user, the first voice command comprising an indication of a first search query; receiving, via the communication network from the electronic device associated with the user, a second voice command from the user, the second voice command comprising an indication of a second search query; determining if the second search query is a refinement of the first search query, said determining comprising; performing a first pseudo search based on a combination of the first search query and the second search query; performing a second pseudo search including the second search query; determining relative weight of the first pseudo search results and the second pseudo search results; deducing that the second search query is a refinement of the first search query responsive to the relative weight of the first pseudo search results being higher than that of the second pseudo search results.

In one aspect of the invention, a system for scheduling execution of computer tasks detects a user's selection of a user interface (UI) element on a display of a user device and captures a user's gesture following the selection of the UI element. The system then recognizes the captured gesture as an indication of scheduling of a delayed execution of a computer task associated with the selected UI element and calculates a time delay for execution of the computer task based on the captured gesture. 摘要： Methods and systems allow indexing references to documents of a database according to database reference profiles. Documents may then be located in the database using decoding protocols based on the database reference profiles. To this end, the documents are stored in the database and searchable terms extracted therefrom are associated with posting lists. Each posting list is divided into blocks of M database references. The blocks are encoded according to a pattern that depends on the M database references. A corresponding pointer to a table of encoding patterns is appended to each block. When a query is received for a searchable term, blocks are extracted from a posting list corresponding to the searchable term and a pointer for each block is used to extract a decoding protocol related to an encoding pattern for the block.
