摘要： [Object] To provide a device with a relatively simple configuration, which is capable of suppressing generation of convection in a weighing chamber according to opening and closing of a door of the weighing chamber to the minimum.
[Solution means] A weighing space 5 is partitioned into upper and lower two spaces with a partition plate 4, to form a weighing chamber 7 smaller in capacity than the weighing space 5 thereunder, thereby configuring the device to settle down the convection in a short time even when convection is generated in the weighing chamber. In addition to this, suspended walls 9a and 9b are attached to the side edges of the partition plate 4 adjacent to doors 10a and 10b along the opening and closing directions of the doors 10a and 10b. Even when the door 10a or 10b is opened, a layer of warm air stagnant in the upper space of the weighing chamber 7 is restricted or blocked in the amount of flowing out to the outside of the weighing chamber 7 by the suspended walls 9a and 9b, and as a result, convection may be not generated in the weighing chamber 7, or even if it is generated, the amount thereof is tiny, which settles down in a short time, which has no adverse effect on a weighing operation. Further, the upper space can be utilized for another purpose such as a neutralization chamber.

摘要： The invention relates to a weighing cell, preferably for an aseptic platform scale, which is rod-shaped and contains a force introduction element (1) and a force output element (2) and a force measuring element disposed axial therebetween. The invention is characterised in that an overload protection (15) is integrated into the flexing beam (3) and/or at least the end face (17) of the force introduction element (1) has an O ring seal (32, 33) and a centring means (35, 36).

摘要： A system and method detect when a product container from which a product is dispensed is empty or nearly empty, and provides a notification of the product status. The system includes a load cell that deflects at a first rate of distance per unit load when a load less than a critical load is positioned to be weighed by the load cell, and a load cell bracket positioned such that the free end of the load cell contacts the load cell bracket when a load substantially equal to or greater than the critical load is positioned to be weighed by the load cell. The load cell bracket may prevent the load cell from further deflection, or it may permit deflection of the load cell at a second rate of distance per unit load when the load cell is in contact with the load cell bracket. The system may generate an out-of-product notification when the amount of product dispensed is substantially equal to zero, a low product notification when the amount of the product remaining is less than a threshold weight or a proof-of-delivery notification.

摘要： A semiconductor wafer metrology technique which corrects for the effect of electrostatic forces on an atmospheric buoyancy compensated weight force measurement of a semiconductor wafer. In one aspect a wafer is weighed in a faraday cage whose is measured independently. A change in the measured weight of the faraday cage can be used to correct the measure weight of the wafer. In another aspect a direct electrostatic measurement can be converted into a weight correction using a predetermined correlation between an electrostatic charge measured by the charge meter and a weight error force. In another aspect the electrostatic measurement may be indirect, e.g. derived from varying the distance between the wafer and a grounded plate parallel to the wafer to effect a change in an electrostatic force between the grounded plate and the wafer.
