Beim erfindungsgemäßen Sicherheits-Manöver-Patronengerät ist es möglich, im Extremfall mindestens 2 scharfe Geschosse aufzufangen, ohne daß eine Gefährdung des Schützen entsteht. Über eine Wendelanordnung wird beim Verschießen von Manöver-Munition der Druck so abgebaut, daß vorne am Ringspalt des Gerätes kein Gasstrom mehr spürbar ist. Somit tritt auch hier, z.B. bei einem aufgesetzten Schutz, kein Sicherheitsproblem auf.

At the engaging position, the slide (106) engages an abutment surface (120) of the barrel unit (118) thereby moving the barrel unit (118) to a position where the barrel chamber portion receives a blank cartridge. A mechanism, i.e., a restrictor element (124), may be provided for generating sufficient back pressure in the barrel unit (118) upon firing of a blank cartridge to move the slide (14) to the rearward position.
