      Spitz zulaufende Yachthecks sind beim achterlichen Festmachen durch Anstoßen an der Per sowohl äußerlich als auch hinsichtlich der Dichtigkeit gegen Wassereinbruch stark gefährdet. Ein Fender im Yachtheck soll diese Gefahr stark reduzieren.
      Der wasserdichte Teil der Rumpfschale wird bereits deutlich vor dem Rumpfende senkrecht abgeschlossen. Das eigentliche Rumpfende ist als unempfindlicher Fender ausgeführt.
      Der Fender eignet sich insbesondere für den Schutz von sportlichen Segelyachten.

The shock absorbing fender is comprised of a linear inner tube (1) formed integrally with internal shock absorbing structure (3), a cylindrical body (4) made of elastic material for forming an outer fender body, and a plurality of hollow tubes (5) arranged around the linear inner tube (1) embedded within the cylindrical body (4). According to the invention, the size of the magnitude of the fender is miniaturized but high shock absorbing capacity is exerted, and even if it is utilized in a large or super large vessel, the shocking load is satisfactorily absorbed whereby damage to both the vessel itself or the installation for coming alongside the shore is prevented. High shock absorbing capacity is equally exerted irrespective of the direction of shocking load.

    • A mutual and multi-restrained fixing fender to be used in navigation consists of one element (1) of elongated tubular form, provided with a double series of first tubular housings (4, 4a) that develop according to chords belonging to planes that intersect the element (1) obliquely and at right angles, each housing being provided with a corresponding first slit (2, 2a) that develops over the whole length thereof, suitable to bring the same housing into communication with the cylindrical outer surface.
      Said first element also comprises a pair of second opposed tubular housings (5) and respective slits (5a) that develop according to longitudinal exes and a number of third opposed housings (6) and slits (6a) that are longitudinal and separated by equal distance from the preceding ones, adapted to mate with countershaped tubular projections (7) obtained at the ends of the fender.
