摘要： The invention relates to a machine tool comprising a tool spindle (1), which can be rotationally driven about a spindle axis (1a). The machine tool also comprises a tool changer, which has grippers (2) and which is provided for displacing tool holders (4) or tools between a receiving position in the tool spindle (1) and a magazining position or conversely. The tool holders (4) or tools in both of these positions are identically aligned, and the magazining position and the receiving position are offset with regard to one another in the spindle axis direction of the tool spindle (1). The tool changer comprises a transporting mechanism that has a supporting element (3), which can pivot about a pivotal axis (5) that is slanted with regard to the spindle axis (1a) and to which the grippers (2) are coupled that can pivot about axes (6; 7) that are perpendicular to one another. The supporting element (3) is provided with guide elements (10), which are mounted in a manner that permits them to rotate about first axes (8) that are parallel to the pivotal axis (5) and which are driven about the pivotal axis (5) counter to the pivotal motion of the supporting element (3). Said guide elements are each connected to a gripper (2) in a manner that permits them to rotate about second axes (9) that are parallel to the spindle axis (1a).
