摘要： An error detector has a parity bit generator which generates error detection data for data strings sent from a CPU I/F to a memory, a parity checker which detects an error in the data strings output from the memory based on the error detection data, and a selector circuit which switchingly outputs the data from the parity bit generator and the data from a CPU which sends diagnostic data. While the selector circuit is switched to output the data from the CPU, based on the error detection data output from the selector circuit, the error detector conducts a failure diagnosis of error detection functions including at least one of the parity bit generator and the parity checker.

摘要： A method for verifying compliance of a communication device with one or more requirement specifications is disclosed. The method comprises establishing a link between a test system and the communication device, wherein the establishing comprises configuring two or more bearers, one or more control channels, and one or more uplink packet filters; closing a test loop comprising the test system and the communication device, wherein the closing comprises activating a test loop function of the communication device; sending units of data associated with different service data flows in a downlink of the test loop from the test system to the communication device, each of the units of data including information representing the service data flow associated with the unit of data; receiving the units of data at the communication device; transferring the units of data to an uplink transmission arrangement of the communication device; and verifying, at the test system, that each of the units of data is transmitted, by the communication device in an uplink of the test loop to the test system, on a correct bearer corresponding to the service data flow associated with the respective unit of data according to the one or more uplink packet filters. Corresponding test system and test loop function arrangement are also disclosed.

摘要： A radio apparatus according to a TDMA/TDD system uses its own transmitter (2) and receiver (3) so as to perform a loopback test for checking normality of the apparatus (1A) during a period of an unassigned slot. A loopback test signal is output from its own transmitter (2) during an unassigned transmitting slot and is received by its own receiver (3). The signal is temporarily stored in a memory (14) and is read during an unassigned receiving slot. The apparatus (1A) thus performs a loopback test. Since a loopback test can be performed by use of its own transmitter (2) and receiver (3) during an unassigned slot, a transmitting and receiving device (tester) specifically used for a loopback test is not required. Also, a loopback test can be carried out even while normal communications are being made.
