摘要： The invention relates to a seafloor/surface connecting installation for a submarine pipeline (10) which rests on the seafloor, e.g. at a great depth. The inventive installation comprises at least one vertical riser (5), the lower end of which is connected to at least one submarine pipeline (10) resting on the seafloor by means of an anchoring system comprising a base (4) which is also disposed on the seafloor. According to the invention, the aforementioned base (4) supports and guides the connecting elements (11-13) between the vertical riser (5) and the pipeline resting on the seafloor (10), said connecting elements (11-13) including a rigid pipe element comprising an elbow-type bend (11). The above-mentioned connecting elements (11-13) are supported and guided in such a way that they can only move in translation in a single longitudinal direction (YY') which essentially corresponds to the axial direction of the submarine pipeline resting on the seafloor (10).

摘要： A mechanical joint assembly (600, 610, 700, 800, 900) for a steel catenary riser (400) (SCR). The lower section of the mechanical joint assembly (600, 610, 700, 800, 900) is comprised of steel or alternate high strength components, rather than elastomers to absorb the high loads and increase life of the unit. The lower mechanical joint assembly provides for reduction of bending moments and resulting fatigue stresses at the SCR top by removing resistance to movement in all angular directions, providing increased construction tolerances for the pipeline approach corridor. Pipeline approach angle increase is accommodated by providing dual orthogonal trunnions (635, 681) in addition to an axial swivel. The upper mechanical joint assembly, acting without riser tension loads, allows for the use of either flexible high-pressure pipe or swivel arrangements (700) to accommodate angular flexure before the rigid deck piping (500). The mechanical joint assembly provides for upstream (900) and downstream (800) valving for safety and maintenance without decreasing the fatigue life of SCR's.

摘要： Apparatus is disclosed for transferring fluid between a point (5) on the seabed, such as a wellhead, and a floating vessel (1). The apparatus comprises a flexible pipeline (4), the upper end of which is attachable to the vessel (1). A second flexible pipeline (8) is attached at one end to the wellhead (5). A structure (6) is mounted on the seabed and includes a member (7) which is movable relative to the structure (6). The lower end of the first pipeline (4) and the upper end of the second pipeline (8) are mounted on an end of the movable member (7) which is remote from the seabed structure (6). When the first flexible pipeline is stretched out in response to the vessel (1) moving about under the action of wind and current, the movable member (7) is displaced relative to the seabed structure (6) in order to allow the pipeline (4) a greater range of movement before it becomes stretched beyond its safe limit. The apparatus is particularly useful in shallow water where the length of the flexible pipeline (4) is not sufficient to take up very much movement of the vessel (1).
