摘要： A pneumatically powered hand-held torque wrench having a handle portion (12) which can be forced out of axial alignment with a work engaging end of the tool by manual force applied to the handle portion of the tool, whereby an enclosed torque tube (28) will operate through a cam arrangement (48, 50, 54) to cause the inner surface of the handle portion (12) to move with a snap action into contact with one of the cams in the cam arrangement to cause an audible signal which will indicate to the operator that a predetermined torque has been applied to the set fastener. The snap action is accompanied by a slight slipping action which is sensed by the tool operator.

Adapters intercept the energy flow to the motor of the tool and re-channels the energy flow through a modular control apparatus, which then controls the flow of energy to the motor. The retrofit kit may include instruction sheets describing and illustrating the methods of using the retrofit kit.

摘要： The invention is a pneumatic tool with a reverse valve having an overdrive. In particular, the pneumatic tool includes a housing, a rotor, rotatably mounted within the housing, an output shaft operatively coupled to the rotor, and pressure chambers defined between the housing and the rotor. A pneumatic reverse valve having an overdrive is operatively coupled to the rotor. The overdrive provides increased torque and increased speed to the output shaft. The reverse valve controls flow of pressurized air to a multi-chambered motor of the tool such that the direction of the motor can be reversed and the number of pressure chambers receiving pressurized air can be selected regardless of direction.
