摘要： A carbon security system is provided for a customer using a credit card to get all of the carbons 14, 24, when the customer copy is taken. Security is achieved because all carbons 14, 24, are connected to the customer copy 18 and are removed together with the customer copy. A set made up of the customer copy 18 and all carbons 14, 24, may be folded over so that the carbons 14, 24, are left inside of the folded customer copy 18. A strip of adhesive 40 attached to the top side or underside of the stub retains the folded set together. Thus, there results a very good way for the customer to retain the carbons 14, 24, without getting a mess on his or her hands and without risking fraudulent use of credit card data obtained from the carbons.

摘要： A bifolded mailer is provided with head and foot panels (44, 50) which are individually shorter than its middle panel (46) but collectively longer than its middle panel. The middle panel is provided with a window flap (56) which remains joined along its lower margin. For variably printing the mailer on one face, the window flap is first folded down so that its outer face is exposed on the inner face of the mailer. After variable printing is applied, the form is processed foot first, in the course of which the window flap is folded back up and patched in place, the head panel is folded up and an insert body (80) is deposited in the resulting trough, the foot panel is folded down, and adhesive bands, which have been applied to various marginal regions of the mailer panels, are activated, for instance by heated platens, creating seals at the left and right ends and in the lap between the head and foot on the outside rear of the mailer. Opening the mailer is accomplished by tearing off marginal strips at the ends, and by pulling across another tear strip located in an external panel.
