摘要： An electrically actuated brake assembly (100) includes a brake disc (101), a brake pad (103), and an electric motor (108) having a rotatable output shaft (109). A service brake transmission (111,113,114) in operative rotational communication with the output shaft causes service braking of the vehicle in response to rotation of the output shaft (109), and an adjuster mechanism (118,120,121) is operable to adjust a distance between the brake pad (103) and the brake disc (101). An adjuster transmission (126) operatively connected between the output shaft and the adjuster mechanism causes operative rotational communication between the output shaft (109) and the adjuster mechanism when the adjuster transmission is engaged so as to transmit rotational movement of the output shaft to the adjuster mechanism, and causes there to be no operative rotational communication between the output shaft (109) and the adjuster mechanism when the adjuster transmission is disengaged so as to not transmit rotational movement of the output shaft to the adjuster mechanism.

摘要： A brake lever is to be attached to a splined S-cam shaft of an automative drum brake and to be connected to a brake cylinder push rod. The lever has a control arrangement (11-23) for transmitting a control movement from a control disc (12) with a reference point (12') to a clutch wheel (6) of the lever mechanism depending on the angular movement of the brake lever. The control disc is in gear engagement with a pinion (14), and an adjustment screw (21) coaxial with the pinion is in engagement with the clutch wheel (6). A cylindrical driver (17) is axially but non-rotatably movable in relation to the pinion (14) coaxial therewith and forms a one-way clutch (20) with a unit including the adjustement screw (21), which is axially movable a distance corresponding to a desired control distance or A-measure (23) for the brake lever, the one-way clutch being spring-biased into engagement.
