摘要： The present invention relates to a catalytic process for hydrogenating aromatic di- and polyamines with the aid of a selected catalyst system, which comprises a mixture of a first heterogeneous catalyst and a second heterogeneous catalyst and a nitro compound (nitrate and/or nitrite salt). The first and second heterogeneous catalyst each independently comprise a metal selected from the group consisting of Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Re, Fe, Ru, Os, Co, Rh, Ir, Ni, Pd and/or Pt and the metal selected for the second heterogeneous catalyst is different from the metal selected for the first heterogeneous catalyst. Hydrogenation of aromatic rings having two or more amino groups bound to the aromatic ring produces cycloaliphatic di- and polyamines, which are useful chemical intermediates, e.g., for further reaction with epoxides or isocyanates. The amino groups may also be converted to isocyanates via reaction with phosgene. The resulting cycloaliphatic di- and polyisocyanates may also be used as monomers for making polymers.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for catalytically hydrating an organic compound, especially an unstable organic compound, in the presence of a supported catalyst that is provided with a coating that contains ruthenium as the active metal and a total of 0.01 to 30 % by weight of active metals. The aim of the invention is to increase stereoselectivity and catalyst service life. To this end, a supported catalyst is used whose oxide-, carbide-, nitride- or silicate-containing support material, prior to being charged with at least one active metal, has a BET(N2) surface of less than 10 m2/g, preferably 0.1 to 5 m2/g, with the exception of diatomaceous earth with a BET(N¿2?) surface of greater 2 m?2¿/g, and whose ruthenium content constitutes at least 50 % by weight, preferably at least 99 % by weight, of the active metals. The invention further relates to the aforementioned supported catalysts. The method and catalysts according to the invention are especially suitable for hydrating polyfunctional compounds such as hydroxycarbonyl compounds and aromatic amines.
