摘要： A method of processing waste, comprising the steps of charging waste into a cylindrical vertical type heating vessel, forming a fluidized bed of waste by injecting gas through a gas injection port formed in the cylindrical vertical type heating vessel while agitating the charged waste, heating the fluidized bed, separating the waste from the gas after the heating, and discharging the waste. This method ensures that harmful substances such as dioxin contained in waste are easily and reliably rendered harmless.

摘要： A body to be treated such as a soil or a flying burned ash is introduced into a sealable thermal decomposition furnace (310) and is heated under reduced pressure. A gaseous effluent derived from the body to be treated is treated in a manner wherein formation or resynthesis of dioxin is inhibited. A heating residue of the body to be treated is cooled after it is purged with a gas for displacement which is free of a halogen and has no ability to form an organic halide. By such a treatment, a content of an organic halide remaining in the heating residue of the body to be treated can be reduced to a very low level.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for treating an object material containing a heavy metal and a noxious organic halide, and a method of treating soil. The treating apparatus is provided with an air-tight door (115b) and a retort (115c) as interfaces for taking out to the outside a discharged gaseous material containing an evaporated material from an object material to be treated which is heated under vacuum in an air-tight chamber (103) while maintaining the conditions such as temperature and pressure in the air-tight chamber, the retort (115c) shutting off the air-tight door (115b) in an opened state from the air-tight chamber (103) when the retort is inserted into a first opening (103b) of the air-tight chamber, thus preventing condensation of the discharged gaseous material on the air-tight door.

摘要： In situ hydrous pyrolysis/oxidation process is useful for in situ degradation of hydrocarbon water (20) and soil contaminants. 摘要： The present invention relates to a process for treatment of contaminated soil, comprising hazardous contaminates such as dioxins, heavy metals and other volatile substances. In the present process for treatment of contaminated soil, said soil is continuously treated in the following stages: i) feeding the soil (1) into a sealed furnace (3), which is airtight with respect to the atmosphere and free of oxygen, where said soil is treated by pyrolysis at a temperature in the range of from about 450°C up to about 800°C, forming a clean soil residue (8) and a gas phase (7), where said gas contains hazardous contaminates desorbed from the soil; ii) removing the soil residue from the furnace; iii) further treating the gas by post combustion (9) at a temperature of at least about 800°C and a retention time of at least 1 second; iv) quench cooling (11) the hot combustion gases formed in stage iii) to a temperature in the range of from about 100°C up to about 200°C; v) recovering (15) metals in the gas from stage iv); vi) treating the residual non-condensed gas (19) from stage v) before discharge to atmosphere (21).
