Between the protrusion and recess of the locking-element pair arranged to form axial locking there is a bevel (20) arranged to form a wedge effect in connection with the contact surface with the corresponding locking-element pair of the adjacent brush ring which is to be arranged with the brush ring against its contact surface. In addition, the invention also relates to a brush assembled from brush rings.
