    • An electricity-to-sound transducer has a diaphragm having an asymmetric shape which is flat when viewed from a direction of vibration, with major and minor axes, having continuous curvatures of concavity and convexity in a direction of sound irradiation, provided with a slot formed almost at a center of the diaphragm in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the diaphragm. An edge portion is formed as surrounding an outer periphery of the diaphragm, an inner section of the edge portion being connected to the outer periphery, the edge portion sustaining the diaphragm so that it can vibrate. A voice coil bobbin has a winding portion around which a voice coil is wound split into two portions in the longitudinal direction of the diaphragm, the bobbin being attached to a rear surface of the diaphragm while the two portions are joined to each other, the joined portions forming a reinforcing beam that reaches a rear surface of a bottom of the slot of the diaphragm. The voice coil is applied flux by a magnetic circuit for vibration. The outer periphery of the edge portion and the magnetic circuit are sustained by a frame. Another type of transducer also has a diaphragm and a voice coil bobbin. A slot of the diaphragm has walls on a bottom of slot, on both ends of the slot in a direction of the major axis and on both ends of the slot in a direction of the minor axis, the slot protruding in a direction of a rear surface of the diaphragm to form a protrusion. The voice coil bobbin is attached to the rear surface of the diaphragm, an inner size of the bobbin almost at the center in the longitudinal direction being larger than an outer size of the protrusion in the direction of the minor axis, the protrusion being inserted into the bobbin, a gap between an inner wall of the bobbin and the protrusion being filled with an adhesive so that the protrusion and the bobbin are bonded to each other.

    • By forming a flange portion 16a1 protruding inward in the radial direction at an upper end portion 16a of a voice coil 16, a coiling sectional shape of the voice coil 16 is set to a L-shape. And, the upper end portion 16a of this voice coil 16 is bonded and fixed to a central flat portion 12b of a diaphragm 12. Hereby, by only increasing slightly the weight of the usual voice coil having an I-shaped coiling section, the large bonding area can be obtained between the voice coil 16 and the diaphragm 12, so that separation of the voice coil 16 can be prevented. Further, since other portions of the voice coil 16 than the upper end portion 16a thereof have the usual coil thickness, it is not necessary to expand the width of a cylindrical magnetic gap G in a magnetic circuit unit 18, whereby it is prevented that electroacoustic conversion efficiency of a speaker 10 lowers.

    • Gemäß dem Stand der Technik werden hochtemperaturfeste Zentrierungen von Lautsprechern so ausgebildet, daß eine mit dem Polkern (14) verbundene Stange (17) als Führung für eine mit dem Schwingspulenträger (11) verbundenen Hülse (19) dient. Eine derartige Zentrierung erfordert aber einen engen Abstand zwischen der Stange (17) und der auf ihr gleitend angeordneten Hülse (19). Dieser enge Abstand zwischen den beiden eben genannten Teilen führt dazu, daß bei Hubbewegungen des Schwingspulenträgers (11) die Stange (17) und die Hülse (19) aneinander reiben, womit die freie Bewegung des Schwingspulenträgers (11) gebremst bzw. die Wiedergabe des Lautsprechers verschlechtert wird. Daher lag der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde eine hochtemperaturfeste Zentrierung für Lautsprecher anzugeben, bei welcher eine Berührung von Stange (17) und Hülse (19) ausgeschloßen ist. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, die Stange (17) und die Hülse (19) aus Magnetmaterial zu bilden und dieses Material radial zur Lautsprecherachse (16) zu magnetisieren. Wiesen die einander zugewandten magnetischen Bereiche von Hülse (19) und Stange (17) die gleiche Polung auf, wird durch die gegenseitige Abstoßung eine berührungslose Zentrierung der Hülse (19) auf der Stange (17) erreicht. Ist der Verbindungsbereich von Schwingspulenträger (11) und Lautsprechermembran (10) auf der Innenseite des Schwingspulenträgers (11) mit der Hülse (19) versehen und wird der Außenmantel (28) der Lautsprechermembran (10, 29) mit einem Klemmring (27) versehen, kann der Klemmring (27) zur Verbindung der Teile (19, 10, 11) miteinander genutzt werden, ohne daß die Verwendung von Klebstoff notwendig ist.

    • The straight-sided cone or diaphragm (2) of a moving coil loudspeaker is formed wholly or principally from aluminium which is spun substantially to double its tensile strength, the spinning process being conventional and preferably being effected manually (Fig. 1). Most advantageously, the formed cone (2) is hard anodised on both sides to increase rigidity and heat radiation. A loudspeaker in accordance with the invention has approximately two and one third times the sound volume capacity of a conventional loudspeaker of comparable size without producing any detectable sound distortion.
