    • An apparatus for recognizing faces with different illuminations may include a processor and memory storing executable computer program code causing the apparatus to at least perform operations including detecting and extracting face data of a first candidate face of a first image and a second candidate face of a second image. The first image is associated with a first light intensity and the second image associated with a second light intensity different from the first light intensity. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to analyze face data to determine whether the first candidate face corresponds to an area in the first image that is substantially the same as an area of the second candidate face and evaluate data of the first and second areas to determine whether the first and second candidate faces are valid or invalid faces. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also provided.

    • The present application discloses a method, an apparatus, a terminal, and a server for identity authentication. The method includes: receiving dynamic face authentication prompt information sent by a server during identity authentication of a user; obtaining gesture recognition information of the dynamic face authentication prompt information by recognizing a facial gesture presented by the user; and sending the gesture recognition information to the server to enable the server to confirm that the identity authentication is successful for the user in response to verifying that the gesture recognition information is consistent with the dynamic face authentication prompt information. Using the embodiments of the present application, a highly secure authentication can be performed on an identity of a user through dynamic face authentication. As compared with existing authentication methods using an authentication password, authentication information will not be stolen by a malicious third party, thus improving the reliability of authentication. Moreover, a user may be recognized as a live user through dynamic face authentication, thereby further improving the accuracy of identity authentication and reducing potential security risks during authentication.

    • The present invention relates to a method for the notification of a facial recognition environment which: acquires an input image inputted in a preview state; compares feature information of a face included in the input image with feature information of reference person images stored in a predetermined database to determine, in real-time, whether the input image satisfies a preset effective photographing condition which is information regarding a condition required to recognize the face included in the input image at a higher accuracy than a preset one; and provides a user with a preset photographing guide feedback corresponding to whether or not the preset effective photographing condition has been satisfied. By using the method, the state of a facial image detected for facial recognition is checked in advance, and if it is determined that an element unsuitable for facial recognition exists, the determined result is notified to the user to let the user remove an obstructive environment which interferes with the recognition of the face thereby improving a success rate of the facial recognition.
