    • A method for processing an antenna pattern obtained from an antenna system which comprises: a main antenna (1); a first sub antenna (2) arranged in such a way that the first sub antenna (2) adjoins the main antenna (1) in the X direction, corresponding to the orientation of the beam width of the main antenna to be reduced and the beam axis of the first sub antenna coincides with the beam axis of the main antenna; and a second sub antenna (3) arranged in such a way that the second sub antenna (3) adjoins the main antenna (1) in the Y direction perpendicular to the X direction and the beam axis of the second sub antenna (3) coincides with the beam axis of the main antenna (1). In accordance with the method, the antenna beam of the antenna system is scanned in a direction other than the X and Y direction and multiplication is carried out between the signal received with the main antenna and each signal received with each sub antenna (2,3) on the condition that the phases of these signals coincide with each other so that a two-dimensional reduction in a beam width is achieved.

    • Système de traitement des données pour réseau d'antennes à phase variable comprenant une série d'éléments transmetteurs/récepteurs et permettant de réduire considérablement les conditions de traitement des données pour les signaux reçus. En phase d'opération les faisceaux HF transmis et reçus sont formés et divisés de manière habituelle avec un déphaseur et un pondérateur d'amplitude pour chaque élément. Toutefois, on fait une approximation simplifiée dans le traitement des signaux reçus pour supprimer les parasites, ce qui a pour effet une perte minimale de l'efficacité du système. Dans un tel système, on supprime les parasites en produisant des zéros dans la configuration de l'antenne de réception dans la direction du parasite. On produit les zéros en ajustant juste assez la phase et l'amplitude (pondération) du signal reçu par chaque élément du réseau pour annuler le parasite avec un effet minimal sur le reste de la configuration d'antenne. Selon la présente invention, en additionnant (42) les sorties des éléments adjacents du réseau afin de produire un nombre de signaux additionnés qui soit plus petit que le nombre d'éléments dans le réseau, on réduit considérablement les conditions de traitement des signaux.

    • 57 System for the cancellation of directional disturbances (jammers) by means of processing the signals received from the radiating elements of a phased array radar planar antenna.
      For the formation of the radiating beam in a certain direction all the radiating elements are not combined amongst themselves; some of these are combined separately in order to form auxiliary beams that allow the estimation of the disturbance which is present in the main beam and its removal from it.
      The system according to the invention does not therefore require the placement of auxiliary antennas around the main antenna and, much less, the use of multiple processing channels in the case when it is desired to control in amplitude and phase all the elementary radiators of the phased array.
      The signal coming from the main channel, with the effects of the disturbance removed can be further processed with the usual techniques that are used with radar receivers to detect the presence of targets and evaluate their kinematic parameters.
