摘要： A floor mat and a small animal rearing cage capable of healthfully rearing a small animal and eliminating the need of adding a specific breeding floor mat even when the small animal is bred, wherein the floor mat is laid on the floor of a rearing box forming the small animal rearing cage. The floor mat formed in a sheet having heat retaining property and flexibility has such a size that can enclose at least the body part of the small animal and laid on the floor of the rearing box so that walls of such a size that can hide at least the half of the body of the small animal can be formed. By utilizing walls formed with the meandering and overlapped sheet-like floor mat, the small animal assures a sleeping floor, an excretion place, and birth and breeding place where light and wind can be avoided. The sheet-like floor mat desirably has both water absorbency and deodorization property to suppress the occurrence of odor.

摘要： Disclosed is a device for producing a carpet of foam on the floor, comprising a floor covering (1) with a conduit system (4) which is provided with at least one outlet, particularly an outlet having one or several foam nozzles (13), and produces a foam on said floor covering (1). Vehicle tires and shoes can be disinfected in a short period of time. The inventive device can be installed in a simple and fast manner, requires little maintenance, can be used in a simple and unproblematic manner, uses only small amounts of chemicals and water, is suitable also for quickly decomposing chemicals such as peracetic acid, iodine compounds, chlorine bleach base, etc., and can be used for disinfecting shoes and tires of heavy vehicles.

摘要： A thin flexible floor mat system is configured to resist penetration by high heeled shoes and be capable of being easily rolled up in long segments. The floor mat is constituted by a series of small square sections and are connected together with connectors (34) that permit easy deployment and removal of the mat system by detaching segments of the mat from each other. The mat is flexible but resists penetration from high heels and other forms of traffic by virtue of maintaining a predetermined volume in the areas (34) formed by adjacent cross pieces (31, 32) of the mat. Longitudinal connectors (34) are configured so that the matting connected to half the connector comes away relatively easily while the matting connected to the other half of the connector is held tightly to the connector. Ramp structures (51) are arranged on all outside edges of the mat system. Different connection arrangements between the mat and the ramps are provided.

The magnet may be either a permanent magnet (16) or an electromagnet (34). A pet activated switch (38) is employed to turn the electromagnet (34) on and off. In an alternate embodiment, a charge generator (40) produces an electrical differential between the litter (42) and a mat (44) to attract litter particles to the mat.

Integral groups of such beds are disclosed, preferably in the form of an elongate strip that can be supplied in a roll to be simply unrolled upon installation and held down by battens.
