摘要： According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a housing including a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a side member surrounding at least a part of a space between the first and second surfaces; a conductive pattern positioned in the housing, and including a first conductive coil having an axis substantially perpendicular to the first or second direction; a communications circuit positioned in the housing, electrically connected to the first conductive coil, and allowing the first conductive coil to generate a magnetic flux; a display exposed through at least a part of the first surface; and a processor positioned in the housing, and electrically connected to the communications circuit and the display. The second surface may include a first portion made of a conductive material, and a second portion made of a non-conductive material. The first portion may include one or more openings. The second portion may fill one of the openings. The first conductive coil may be substantially positioned below the first portion by being viewed above the second surface. The first conductive coil may include a first section positioned adjacent to or at the second portion, such that the generated magnetic flux penetrates the second portion. Various other embodiments are possible.

摘要： An electronic device includes first and second antennas (430, 440), a magnetic stripe transmission (MST) integrated circuit (IC) (420), and a processor (410). The first antenna (430) is disposed between first and second surfaces of the electronic device and in parallel with the first and second surfaces of the electronic device. The first antenna outputs a signal in a first direction. The second antenna (440) is disposed between the second surface of the electronic device and the first antenna and in parallel with the first and second surfaces of the electronic device. The second antenna outputs a signal in a second direction. The MST IC controls the first and second antennas. When a payment mode is executed, the processor controls the MST IC such that one of the first and second antennas outputs an MST signal and the other of the first and second antenna outputs a jamming signal for interfering with wiretapping of the MST signal.

At least part of the side member and/or the back cover includes a conductive material. The handheld electronic device includes first and second connection terminals electrically connected to the at least part. The at least part forms at least part of an antenna of the handheld electronic device, and comprises first and second areas which are spaced apart from each other. The first area is electrically connected to the second area and the first connection terminal.
