摘要： A system for determining resistivity of a region below a geologic surface by transmitting a signal from a marine location above the sea floor to a receiver comprises a vertical dipole, vertical coil, or other antenna. The receiver may have a vertical dipole, including a first conductor structure and a second conductor structure, as well as a first member. The first conductor structure may be disposed below the sea floor and the second conductor structure may be disposed above the first conductor structure. The receiver may receive the signal at the sea floor. The system may be used in a method that includes releasing the remote reader from a surface vessel, activating a drive head on the remote reader, creating a hole in the sea floor, and disposing a first conductor structure within the hole.

The process comprises passing a feed of FA from a loopgas EO absorber to a multi-stage countercurrent distillation zone, the feed of FA having a concentration of EO in the range of from about 1 to about 15 wt % upon entering the distillation zone; and obtaining from the distillation zone an acetaldehyde enriched stream, a lean absorbent (LA) stream, a vapor stream enriched in light ends, a glycol enriched bottoms stream and an EO enriched product stream. Suitable apparatus is also disclosed.

The process comprises: supplying a gas composition to an absorber comprising a column of vertically stacked trays, wherein each of the vertically stacked trays comprises: a perforated gas-liquid contacting member or members, a liquid inlet area, an outlet weir extending vertically above a surface of the tray at an opposite end of the tray from the liquid inlet area and having a height of at least 200 mm and at most 1500 mm, and a downcomer element which, in cooperation with an inner surface of a wall of the column, forms a downcomer for the passage of liquid downwardly to the liquid inlet area of an adjacent vertically stacked tray below, and allowing the gas composition to pass upwards through the alkylene oxide absorber.
