    • The present invention provides a steel sheet excellent in workability, which is used for panels, undercarriage components, structural members and the like of an automobile, and a method for producing said steel sheet.     • Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur galvanischen Beschichtung von Magnesium- oder Magnesiumlegierungsoberflächen. Zur Abscheidung unterschiedlicher Metallschichten aus Magnesium- oder Magnesiumlegierungsoberflächen wird mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren vorgeschlagen, die zu beschichtenden Oberflächen bis zur Abscheidung einer ersten Metallschicht auf den Oberflächen diese ausschließlich mit Prozesslösungen und Spüllösungen in Kontakt zu bringen, welche einen pH-Wert > pH 7 aufweisen. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass bei Vermeidung der Kontaktierung der zu beschichtenden Oberflächen mit Prozesslösungen mit einem pH-Wert ≤ 7 Metallschichten auf eine Vielzahl von Magnesium- oder Magnesiumlegierungsoberflächen mit gutem Abscheideergebnis haftfest abgeschieden werden können.
