摘要： This invention relates to an improved spike (10,30,40) installed in a sole (21) of a shoe (20) and consists of a receptacle (12) having a base (22) and several connecting seats (24,34,42) integrated around the edge of the base in one piece flexibly moving in proportion to the base. Several spikes (14) are installed unto individual connecting seats extruding the sole. Accordingly, each connecting seat and partial spikes (14,32,48) are wrapped up by the flexible sole. When spikes receive an external force causing connecting seats to deviate slightly and simultaneously, the elasticity of the sole material and elastic recovery of each connecting seat are used ingeniously to create proper grip.

摘要： A shoe cleat (1) with improved traction includes at least one resiliently flexible traction element (6) extending from a hub (7) and being resiliently deflectable in a direction toward the sole of a shoe when the cleat (1) is secured to the sole. The cleat (1) is further configured to trap and engage blades of grass during resilient deflection of the traction element when the shoe is forced against a turf surface. The grass blades are frictionally engaged and secured in a non-planar engaging area by the traction element (6) resulting in an enhanced traction of the shoe with respect to the turf surface. A convex foot (12) on the traction element includes a suitable curvature to facilitate sliding of the foot along the turf surface as the traction element (6) deflects to avoid penetration into the turf.
