摘要： The invention relates to a panel connector for office partitions panels (26, 28, 30, 31) having rectangular panel frames (60) at the side edges thereof, a connector assembly (38, 40, 41) for rigidly connecting the rectangular panel frames (60) together at the side edges thereof, said connector assembly (38, 40, 41) including upper and lower wedge blocks (70, 130) on the panel side edges and draw block assemblies (90, 110, 120) adapted to grip the wedge blocks (70, 130) and draw the wedge blocks (70, 130) of adjacent frames together. Adjacent panels of different height have a height change assembly (170) attached to a taller panel at a mid portion thereof in register with at least one of said upper wedge blocks (70). The height change assembly (170) includes a lower draw surface (192) and an adjustable fastener (90), the lower draw surface (192) is shaped to react with an upper wedge surface (80) of an upper wedge block (70) of the adjacent shorter panel to draw the height change assembly (170) tightly against the upper wedge block (70) and to draw the different height panels together as the fastener (90) is adjustably tightened.

摘要： A partitioning system has vertical stays and horizontal linking tubes that allow panels to be mounted on the stays by means of linking elements. The stays have a linking bar that extends in a perpendicular direction to the plane of the partition and that is provided with a row of linking holes. Cantilever arms that project perpendicularly to the plane of the partition can be mounted on the stays. Partitions with a closed visible side can thus be easily mounted by means of specially designed linking elements that remain out of sight.

摘要： A fastening device to join together panels comprises a body (12) that has a spreader (32); a U-shaped spring (14) with arms (47, 48) provided with outward facing gripping means (47'', 48'') protruding from said body and drawn together in a resting position; a cam-type operating element (18) rotatable in said body. By rotating the cam element, the spring is movable between a resting position with the arms close to each other, in which it leaves said panels free and an engagement position with the arms spread apart, in which it engages the walls of a hole in a panel, and vice versa.
The body (12) has an elongated cylindrical shape and comprises an internal housing (26). A slide element (16) is received inside the housing, is moveable for an axial distance along it, and has means (44) for engaging the spring.
The cam element (18) is received in the body and in the slide to operate the movement of the slide between said resting position of the spring and said working position of the spring and vice versa.

The first panel has a female connecting member provided along its vertical edge, and a channel disposed transverse to the vertical edge. A sliding pin block is retained for sliding movement inside the channel of the first panel, the sliding pin block having a pin normally biased to extend through the female connecting member. The pin is fitted inside the slot of the male connecting member when the first and second panels are connected along their vertical edges to align the first and second panels at the same vertical level with respect to each other.
