    • The invention relates to the processing of a digital audio signal, including a series of samples distributed in consecutive frames. The processing is implemented in particular when decoding said signal in order to replace at least one signal frame lost during decoding. The method includes the following steps: a) searching, in a valid signal segment available when decoding, for at least one period in the signal, determined in accordance with said valid signal; b) analysing the signal in said period, in order to determine spectral components of the signal in said period; c) synthesising at least one frame for replacing the lost frame, by construction of a synthesis signal from: an addition of components selected among said predetermined spectral components, and a noise added to the addition of components. In particular, the amount of noise added to the addition of components is weighted in accordance with voice information of the valid signal, obtained when decoding.

    • A method and electronic device for adaptive processing of sound data is provided. An electronic device includes a speaker, a communication module configured to communicate with an external electronic device, and a processor connected to the communication module, wherein the processor is configured to receive data from the external electronic device using the communication module, when the data corresponds to speech, decode the data using a first decoding scheme and change the quality of the decoded data using a first signal processing scheme, when the data corresponds to music, decode the data using a second decoding scheme and change the quality of the decoded data using a second signal processing scheme, and output, through the speaker, an audio signal corresponding to the data changed using the first signal processing scheme or the second signal processing scheme.

    • Embodiments for audio classification are described. An audio classification system includes at least one device which executes a process of audio classification on an audio signal. The at least one device can operate in at least two modes requiring different resources. The audio classification system also includes a complexity controller which determines a combination and instructs the at least one device to operate according to the combination. For each of the at least one device, the combination specifies one of the modes of the device, and the resources requirement of the combination does not exceed maximum available resources. By controlling the modes, the audio classification system has improved scalability to an execution environment.
