摘要： Systems and Methods for providing access control to files stored on a shared file storage platform in a multi-user environment are described herein. According to the present subject matter, the system(s) implement the described methods for receiving a request from a user device of a user from amongst a plurality of users, to perform an operation in relation to a file. Further determining a global unique identifier (GUID) associated with the file where the GUID uniquely distinguishes the file from other files based on contents of the file. The method further includes executing the requested operation in relation to the file based on an access reference graph (ARG), where the ARG provides an access control data structure to the files stored on the shared file storage platform, and where the ARG references the files stored on a shared file storage platform based on the GUID associated with each file.

摘要： Described is maintaining cached hash values for files in association with state data for each file that represents the state of that file's contents at the time of hashing. For example, in a journaling file system, the state data may comprise the update sequence number of the file in the journal and a journal identifier for that journal instance. A request for a hash value for a file is processed by determining whether a cached hash value is maintained for that file. If so, and the associated maintained state data matches current state data for the file, the file contents are unchanged since the last hash computation, whereby the cached hash value is returned in response to the request. Otherwise, a new hash value is computed for the file and returned, and cached for future use. Multiple types of hashes may be cached for a given file.

摘要： Systems and methods for detection of malicious exploitations in a multimedia file are disclosed. In one embodiment, such an approach includes parsing the compiled bytecode of a multimedia file to detect identified key instructions and determine if such key instructions are repeated in specific patterns that signify the presence of malicious exploitation. The approach may also include examining the contents of the constant pool table in a compiled multimedia file to detect specific shellcode strings that are indicative of presence of malicious exploitation. When the bytecode or the constant pool table indicates that malicious exploitation is present, an approach may be utilized to reduce instances of false positive identification of malicious exploitation.
