摘要： Two-axis hydraulic solar tracker for orientation and tracking of trajectory in solar collector panels providing an increase in energy capture of between 30 and 40% compared to fixed panels. Said tracker is hydraulically operated, with no type of electric or reducing motor, all movements thereof produced by three hydraulic cylinders. The movement mechanism used means that the tracker can be made with very light materials, compounds materials made of thermostable resins and glass fibre.

The system includes at least two linear actuators, a rotational joint connecting the linear actuators and sub-frame, and a driver system that drives the actuators. Additionally, the system includes a feedforward control system including a computer that calculates desired positions of the linear actuators using multiple inputs and communicates with the driver system to drive the linear actuators, and a feedback control system that relays information gathered by sensor devices to the feedforward control system, where the feedforward and feedback control systems function in an integrated manner.
