    • A galley cooling system (10) suitable for use in an aircraft comprises a cooling unit (12) adapted to provide a cooling fluid. The trolley compartment (18) of the galley cooling system (10) comprises a front side access opening (20), a back wall (22) arranged opposite to the front side access opening (20) and two sidewalls (24, 26). A cooling fluid inlet (35) is provided in the region of a first sidewall (24) of the trolley compartment (18), the cooling fluid inlet (35) being connected to the cooling unit (12) so as to supply cooling fluid provided by the cooling unit (12) to the trolley compartment (18). A cooling fluid outlet (40) is provided in the region of the first sidewall (24) of the trolley compartment (18), the cooling fluid outlet (40) being adapted to discharge cooling fluid heated upon circulating through the trolley compartment (18) from the trolley compartment (18).
