摘要： A light source device is provided with an LED having strong directivity, a reflective hood which has an interior reflecting surface for reflecting the illumination light from the light source, and a pair of first and second polarizing reflective plates for polarizing the illumination light from the LED in a specific direction. The first and second polarizing reflective plates have a specific length and width, and a back surface formed from a high reflectance plate. The light source is secured to the reflective hood. A specific interval is provided between the first and second polarizing reflective plates and the reflecting surface of the reflective hood, and a specific interval is provided between the two plates with the optical axis passing through the 0° direction angle of the light source in between. That is to say, the respective designated angles α of inclination are formed with respect to the optical axis so that the interval in the vicinity of the light source is large, and the interval further away is small.

摘要： A light source device of the present invention includes: a point light source 2 having high directionality; a housing 3 that has a housing bottom plate arranged with the point light source 2, housing side plates arranged in a standing manner from a periphery of the housing bottom plate to a predetermined height, and a side defining an opening provided facing the housing bottom plate, and that is formed on inner wall surfaces thereof with reflective surfaces; and an optical reflective plate 4 that covers the opening and emits light from the point light source as substantially uniform illumination light. Each of at least some of the housing side plates is provided with a side central reflective portion having a high optical reflectance and a low optical transmittance in a side plate region nearest to the point light source 2, and provided, in outer side plate regions of the side central reflective portion, with side outer reflective portions that have an optical reflectance decreasing and an optical transmittance increasing as being distant from the side central reflective portion. With the present invention, it is possible to provide a light source device that can be used for multiple purposes by enabling to emit illumination light from multiple faces.

摘要： To provide a planar light source device that can provide large-area, uniform, and high-quality planar illumination light.
A planar light source device includes a main body case 4 that surrounds the periphery of a gap between a pair of optical reflection plates disposed to face each other with side plates, and a plurality of point light sources 2 arranged at predetermined intervals on at least one side plate of the main body case. The planar light source device allows light from the point light sources 2 to be transmitted through at least one of the pair of optical reflection plates 5 and emitted to the outside. At least one 5 of the pair of optical reflection plates 5 includes a light blocking region S1 that blocks light from the point light sources on the point light sources 2 side, and a light transmission region S2 that does not allow the light from the point light sources 2 to be directly transmitted but allows reflection light reflected between the optical reflection plates to be transmitted, and is aligned so that transmissivity increases as the distance from the light blocking region S1 increases, and luminance is substantially uniform on the surface of the optical reflection plate.
