摘要： Provided are: a CO 2 recovery apparatus such that the total operational efficiency and stability of the apparatus can be improved even when the amount of a gas to be treated varies; and a CO 2 recovery process. This CO 2 recovery apparatus (1) is provided with: a CO 2 absorption tower (14) for bringing exhaust gas (11A) into contact with a CO 2 absorbing liquid (13) and thus making the CO 2 absorbing liquid (13) absorb the CO 2 contained in the exhaust gas (11A); a CO 2 absorbing liquid regeneration tower (15) for heating the CO 2 absorbing liquid (13) with steam and thus releasing CO 2 from the CO 2 absorbing liquid (13) and regenerating the CO 2 absorbing liquid (13); a flowmeter (101) for determining the flow rates of the exhaust gas (11A) introduced into the CO 2 absorption tower (14); and a control unit (102) for classifying the flow rates of the exhaust gas (11A) determined by the flowmeter (101) into multiple flow rate ranges, and controlling the flow rate of the CO 2 absorbing liquid (13) supplied to the CO 2 absorption tower (14) and the flow rate of steam supplied to the CO 2 absorbing liquid regeneration tower (15) on the basis of prescribed set load values which have been previously established in accordance with the multiple flow rate ranges.

The CO 2 absorber 13 includes a CO 2 absorbing section 13A in which a CO 2 -containing flue gas 11A that contains CO 2 and a CO 2 absorbent 12 that is a basic amine compound absorbent are brought into contact with each other to remove CO 2 , and an aqueous cleaning section 21 in which a decarbonated flue gas 11B, from which CO 2 is removed in the CO 2 absorbing section 13A, and rinsing water 20 are brought into contact with each other to remove an accompanying substance that accompanies the decarbonated flue gas 11B. A lean solution 12B, from which CO 2 is removed in the regenerator 14, is re-used in the absorber 13. The CO 2 recovery device includes a degassing basin 80 which is interposed in a rich solution supply line L 11 that supplies the rich solution 12A from the CO 2 absorber 13 to the absorbent regenerator 14, and which includes a retaining section 82 configured to remove oxygen in the rich solution 12A.

摘要： To provide: a gas-liquid contactor capable of reducing the gas-liquid maldistribution inside the device and of preventing reduction in gas absorption characteristics, even if the overall device has increased in size; and a CO 2 recovery device. This gas-liquid contactor (100) comprises: a plurality of packing material sections (110) through which exhaust gas (11) passes; and a plurality of liquid distributors (120) provided upon each of the plurality of packing material sections (110), dispersing a CO 2 absorption liquid (14) caused to come in contact with the exhaust gas (11), and supplying the CO 2 absorption liquid (14) to the plurality of packing material sections (110). The plurality of packing material sections (110) include a first packing material layer (111) and a second packing material layer (112) that have provided therein flowpaths (111a, 112a) for the CO 2 absorption fluid (14) that each extend in prescribed directions (D2, D3). The first packing material layer (111) and the second packing material layer (112) are characterized by being laminated such that the directions (D2, D3) of extension of the flowpaths (111a, 112a) in the flow direction (D1) for the exhaust gas (11) are different from each other.
