    • This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A first device receives a control channel and a first data channel, where the first device receives the control channel and the first data channel based on a same spatial domain receive parameter, or the first device receives both the control channel and the first data channel through an omnidirectional beam, and indication information of a spatial domain receive parameter of a second data channel is carried on the control channel and/or the first data channel. The first device receives the second data channel based on the indication information. In this application, the first device may first determine the spatial domain receive parameter of the second data channel based on the indication information of the spatial domain receive parameter of the second data channel in the control channel or the first data channel. Therefore, when the second data channel is being received, the determined spatial domain receive parameter may be used, thereby improving receiving performance of the data channel.

    • This application provides a resource selection method and apparatus. The method includes: A first terminal device receives first indication information from a second terminal device, where the first indication information indicates quality of SL transmission between the first terminal device and the second terminal device on a first resource, and the first resource is a resource indicated by a third terminal device (S310); and the first terminal device determines that a quantity of times the first indication information meets a preset condition is greater than or equal to a preset value, and selects a second resource, where the second resource is different from the first resource (S320). According to the technical solution of this application, the preset condition is set, and resource selection is performed when link interference is large, to help improve an anti-interference capability of a communication system; and when the first resource indicated by the third terminal device can meet the quality of the SL transmission between the first terminal device and the second terminal device, there is no need to perform resource selection, which reduces energy consumption overheads.
