    • A battery rod and an electronic cigarette.     • The present invention provides a battery assembly of an electronic cigarette, which is combined with an atomizing assembly to form an electronic cigarette. An image recognition apparatus comprises an imagine sensor and a microcontroller. The microcontroller matches a to-be-recognized identification acquired by the image sensor with a preset identification. When the to-be-recognized identification matches the preset identification, the microcontroller controls electronic connection of a circuit between the battery assembly and the atomizing assembly, so that the electronic cigarette normally works. That is, the electronic cigarette has a recognition function, and the battery assembly of the electronic cigarette can be normally used only when the battery assembly matches the atomizing assembly, thereby avoiding the problem that ports of the electronic cigarette are damaged due to mismatching.
