    • The invention relates to a bicycle pump provided with an elongated pump housing, with a pump piston positioned within the pump housing, which is secured to a piston rod (11), and with a handle (16) co-operating with said piston rod (11). Said handle (16) is adjustably connected to the hollow piston rod (11) in such a manner, that in a first position for operating the pump said handle (16) extends transversely to the hollow piston rod (11) near the end (14) of the hollow piston rod (11) remote from the piston, and that in a second position said handle (16) is accommodated within the hollow piston rod (11) at least along part of its length. A pump hose is connected with the pump housing by means of a coupling piece which is inserted in a coupling means with a force fit. Further the pump hose has been provided with a connecting device which can be placed on a valve and which has a connecting piece at least partly or resilient material and a shell-shaped member slidable on said connecting piece.

    • A child's seat (1) comprising a seat portion and a back portion, which child's seat can be secured in a vehicle by means of a three-point seat belt present in said vehicle. The three-point seat belt (21) is connected to the vehicle with a first end (40) and with a second end (41), and can be detachably secured to a belt buckle (43) provided in said vehicle by means of a belt tongue (42) provided between said ends. In the mounted position of the child's seat in the vehicle the first end of the belt (40) is positioned near a side of said back portion remote from said seat portion, the second end is positioned under the first end, near the seat portion, and the belt tongue (42) connected to the belt buckle (43) is positioned on a side of said seat portion remote from said second end. The child's seat is provided near the side of the back portion remote from the seat portion with at least one clamping device (5) comprising a housing and a tightening device (13) positioned within said housing, by means of which a belt portion extending between said belt tongue (42) and said first end (40) can be tightened in a tightening direction away from said back portion and be locked against movement with respect to the clamping device in a locking direction opposed to said tightening direction. The housing comprises at least two parts (6, 8) which are capable of pivoting movement about a pivot pin (7) with respect to each other. The parts (6, 8) are capable of releasable interlocking engagement and which are provided on a side remote from said pivot pin with interlocking closing elements (9, 12), whereby said parts are capable of pivoting movement with respect to each other from a first position, in which the belt portion extending between said belt tongue (42) and said first end (40) can be positioned between said two parts, to a second position, in which said belt portion is retained between said parts and the belt portion present in said clamping device is undetachably connected to the clamping device, and vice versa.

    • A host and user transaction system comprising a self contained portable intelligent device (13) for use by a service user, and an interface device (11) for use by a service provider. The intelligent device (13) is in the form of an integrated circuit (IC) card incorporating a single chip microcomputer having an input/output communication port (15), nonvolatile memory (17, 19) and random access memory (21). The interface device (11) has its own memory for storing data and a coupler (14) to connect to the IC card forcommunicating therewith. The nonvolatile memory (17, 19) has in one part an operating system mask programmed in native code for performing basic functions and in a second part data files with different access restriction levels. The random access memory (21) is available for use by the operating system and stores data received from or ready for transmission via the communication port (15). The interface device (11) includes a program module within its own memory, which includes instructions for working with prescribed data files within the second part of the nonvolatile memory (17, 19). These instructions are performed by the operating system after the IC card is connected to the coupler by means of a progrm interpreter and form part of a prescribed instruction set discrete from the native code. Basic functions performed by the operating system in native code are only performed in accordance with a command executor which is limited to enabling the IC card to receive commands, perform prescribed functions in respect of the command and provide a result or status to the command, but not to execute program modules for performing a transaction which involves data file access.
