摘要： A modular link (10) or link section for use in forming a riddles conveyor belt or a section thereof is provided. In one embodiment, the link section is unitary and includes a plurality of laterally-repeating link-shaped portions (16), each including an apex portion (14) and a pair of leg portions (22, 24). Each apex portion includes a receiver (18) for receiving an integral first connector (36) extending between the leg portions of a next-adjacent link or link section, preferably in snap-fit engagement, such that relative pivoting movement is established. A second integral connector (40) may be provided between the leg portion of each adjacent apex portion to create an engagement surface for a tooth of a drive or idler sprocket (s). The underside surface of each link section may also be specially contoured or curved to facilitate smooth passage over a guide structure (B), such as a small diameter, cylindrical nosebar or the like.

摘要： A modular conveying assembly for conveying an object. The assembly includes a plurality of chain modules assembled in an edge to edge relation to form a continuous belt. At least one hinge pin joins adjacent chain modules, and pivotally connects the adjacent modules in the direction of belt travel. At least one cradle adjacent at least one of the modules is retained by the at least one pin. A roller is supported by the cradle and, in one embodiment, is engageable with the object to reduce friction between the belt and the object. In one embodiment, the cradle includes a first half including a first hinge element. A second half including a second hinge element is spaced from the first hinge element and defines a space therebetween. A shaft extends between the first and second halves through the space defined by the first and second hinge elements.

摘要： A conveyor chain having fewer parts is disclosed. The assembly and disassemby of the chain conveyor and the removal of the ball and the like can be easily performed. In a conveyor chain (100) in which chain links (110) having article loading portions (111) on which articles are loaded are adjacently, endlessly connected with each other with connecting pins. Between the hinge portions (113) disposed on one side edge of the article loading portion (111) is formed a U-shaped cutout portion (115) having a ball holding inner peripheral surface (115a), a free ball (130) inserted between a hinge portion (112) of the chain link (110) oppositely adjacent to the U-shaped cutout portion (115) and the U-shaped cutout portion (115) is rotatably held by the ball holding inner peripheral surface (115a) and a stopper (140). The upper and lower portions of the free ball (130) are protruded from a surface of the article loading portion (111) and a lower end of the link portion (114), respectively.

摘要： A method and materials are disclosed wherein a layer of a softer thermoplastic material comprising (i) a thermoplastic polyurethane or (ii) a thermoplastic elastomer alloy including a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer and a thermoplastic polyurethane can be attached to a substrate comprising a harder thermoplastic alloy including a polyester and a polycarbonate. In one form, the method and materials are used to form a modular chain link for use in constructing a modular conveyor chain. The modular chain link includes a main body comprising the thermoplastic alloy including a polyester and a polycarbonate, and a softer layer of the thermoplastic material comprising (i) a thermoplastic polyurethane or (ii) a thermoplastic elastomer alloy including a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer and a thermoplastic polyurethane disposed on at least a portion of the main body.
