摘要： A method of manufacturing a catalyst for catalyzing hydrogen releasing reaction includes following steps. First, a solution with metal catalyst ions is provided. Next, several catalyst supports are provided. Each catalyst support includes several chelating units. Then, the catalyst supports are mixed with the solution, so that the metal catalyst ions in the solution chelate with the chelating units on the surface of each catalyst support. Subsequently, the metal catalyst ions chelating with the surface of the catalyst supports are reduced, so that metal catalyst nano-structures and/or metal catalyst atoms are coated on the surface of the catalyst supports, for forming catalysts.

There is provided a process for producing a (meth)acrylic ester, comprising the reaction step of subjecting (meth)acrylic acid and a C1-C4 alcohol to an esterification reaction in the presence of a strongly acidic cation exchange resin catalyst to thereby obtain a (meth)acrylic ester and the recovery step of separating any unreacted (meth)acrylic acid from the reaction mixture obtained in the reaction step, the unreacted (meth)acrylic acid recycled to the reaction step, wherein any solid contents are separated from the unreacted (meth)acrylic acid being recycled to the reaction step.

摘要： A catalyst precursor composition comprises the reaction product of a cation exchange resin containing trityl carbonium ions contacted with a metallocene. The process of producing the reaction product of a cation exchange resin containing trityl carbonium ions contacted with a metallocene comprises: (1) providing a cation exchange resin which has cations, (2) contacting the cation exchange resin with a solution comprising a trityl halide complex and solvent therefor to form an intermediate; and (3) contacting the intermediate with a metallocene, preferably a zirconocene salt. The resulting composition can be used to form ethylene resins in an alumoxane free system.

摘要： This invention relates to a solid acid catalyst comprising porous highly fluorinated acidic polymer and process for manufacturing it. The catalyst comprises at least 90 wt.% highly fluorinated acidic polymer and has a surface area of about 0.01 m2/g to about 5 m2/g. The catalyst is prepared by exposing the polymer to a pressurised fluid such as SO¿2? or CO2, heating the polymer to above the softening point, reducing the pressure quickly thus expanding the polymer into a porous structure, and cooling the polymer. Examples of the highy fluorinated acidic polymer are perfluorinated sulfonic acid resin perfluorinated and sulfonyl fluoride polymer.

摘要： A catalytic distillation structure (10) having a plurality of corrugated vertically disposed catalyst containing elements (12) separated by inert spacing elements (24) is disclosed. The catalyst containing elements (12) each have two layers of gas permeable material (18, 20), such as wire mesh, joined together at regularly spaced intervals (13) to form a single sheet (12) having pockets (22) disposed on the surface. A particulate catalyst (26) is disposed within the pockets (22). The catalyst (26) within the pockets (22) provides a reaction zone where catalytic reactions may occur and the gas permeable sheets (18, 22) provide mass transfer surfaces to effect a fractional distillation. The spacing elements (14) allow for a variation of the catalyst density and loading.
