摘要： The invention concerns a method for making secure valuable documents, comprising steps which consists in: incorporating in each document, upon its production, at least one active substance irreversibly changing colour under the effect of an external microwave radiation, said colour change rendering said documents useless and legally identifiable. The invention is characterized in that the external microwave radiation induces an irreversible chemical modification of the active substance by creating an extended π-conjugated system. The invention also concerns a valuable document comprising at least one active substance shifting into an extended π-conjugated system under the effect of an external microwave radiation.

摘要： Fluorescent particles strongly fluorescing upon irradiation with ultraviolet rays, as well as a process for producing the same, are provided. A water-insoluble fluorescent dyestuff and/or pigment fluorescing upon irradiation with ultraviolet rays, and a powdery material including starch, cellulose, other polysaccharides and sugars are mixed and granulated. The surface of granules of the powdery material may be coated with the fluorescent dyestuff and/or pigment. In granulation or coating, a resin having reactive groups reacting with the hydroxyl groups of the powdery material is used in combination, whereby particles excellent in water resistance can be obtained. Further, the interaction between an anionic binder contained in the granules and a cationic material contained in the coating layer or between a cationic binder contained in the granules and an anionic material contained in the coating layer can be utilized to confer water resistance on the particles. By inclusion of the fluorescent particles in paper, there can be provided anti-falsification paper wherein the particles fluorescing in a specific hue can be clearly visually recognized upon irradiation with ultraviolet rays.

摘要： A method for effectively preventing a forgery of paper or film-form medium, wherein, for one solution, a thin, antenna-equipped semiconductor chip up to 0.5 mm square is embedded in a medium with the side walls of the chip formed with oxide films and separated from the chip by etching. Limiting the size of the semiconductor chip to up to 0.5 mm can improve resistances against bending and concentrated over loading, etching separation can provide a crack-, breakage-free semiconductor chip, and oxide films on the side walls require a simple process in preventing short-circuiting at edges when bonded to an antenna.

A particularly pronounced and well observable effect when embedding such security element in a paper or paper-like structure can be achieved due to the anisotropy of the cross-section (9) since such a photoluminescent fibre (12) surprisingly shows the tendency to remain at the surface of a paper and to a line with a long principle axis (11) substantially parallel to the surface (6) of the corresponding document. This is particularly useful and effective if the photoluminescent fibre (12) shows linearly polarised absorption and/or linearly polarised photoluminescence.

A particularly pronounced and well observable effect when embedding such security element in a paper or paper-like structure can be achieved when said paper or paper-like structure is composed of 30 to 99 percent in dry weight fibres and 70 to 1 percent in dry weight filler and optional additives, complementing to 100 percent in total. Preferably, the filler is titanium dioxide or zinc oxide with high scattering and/or absorption properties. According to another preferred embodiment, the paper or paper-like structure is additionally substantially free of brightener and/or additives with fluorescent properties.
