Hierbei wird insbesondere durch die verdeckt liegenden Sensoren 15 die Möglichkeit geschaffen nur bestimmte Raumbereiche beispielsweise bei Großflächenleuchten auszuleuchten, während hingegen der weitere Raum abgedunkelt bleibt. Besonders vorteilhaft ist die Kombination der Sensoren 15 im Zusammenhang mit Großflächenleuchten, wenn nur einzelne Abschnitte beleuchtet werden, und zwar dort wo sich gerade Personen aufhalten, wobei insbesondere das Licht bei einer Bewegung der Personen stufenlos und fließend nachgeführt werden kann.
