摘要： This invention introduces audio/speech encoding apparatus audio/speech decoding apparatus, audio/speech encoding method and audio/speech decoding method to efficiently encode the quantization parameters of split multi-rate lattice vector quantization. In this invention, the position of the sub-vector whose codebook indication consumes the most bits is firstly located, and then the value of the codebook is estimated based on the total number of bits available and the bits usage information for other sub-vectors. The difference value is calculated between the actual value and estimated value. Finally, instead of transmitting the codebook indication which consumes the most bits, the position of the sub-vector whose codebook indication consumes the most bits and the difference value between the actual value and the estimated value are transmitted. By applying of the invented method, bits can be saved by the codebook indications.

摘要： A coding method with a small error is provided. In the coding method of the present invention, a normalization value obtained from an input signal is corrected for an error calculated from an input and output in vector quantization and is then quantized. The coding method includes a normalization stage of normalizing the input signal in accordance with the normalization value of the input signal, calculated in each frame; a dividing stage of dividing the normalized frame into divided input signal sequences in accordance with a predetermined rule; a vector quantization stage of applying vector quantization to the divided input signal sequences to generate a vector quantization index; and a normalization value correction stage of correcting the normalization value of the input signal for the error obtained from the input and output in the vector quantization stage.

摘要： A quantization method quantizing a line spectral frequency, LSF, coefficient of a speech or audio signal comprising quantizing, by a first quantizer comprising a trellis coded vector quantizer, an error vector between a prediction vector of a current stage and an N-dimension sub-vector of the current stage, where N is a natural number greater than or equal to 2; generating, by an intra-frame predictor, the prediction vector of the current stage by using a quantized N-dimension sub-vector of a previous stage and a prediction matrix of the current stage, wherein the prediction matrix is a prediction coefficient having NXN matrix format; and quantizing, by a second quantizer comprising a vector quantizer, a quantization error vector which corresponds to a difference between a quantized N-dimension sub-vector of the current stage and the N-dimension sub-vector, wherein the N-dimension sub-vector quantized by the quantization module is obtained by removing a predefined mean value from the LSF coefficient, and wherein the quantized N-dimension sub-vector of the current stage is obtained by adding the quantized error vector of the current stage and the prediction vector of the current stage.
