摘要： The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for flagging the position of manually usable means (11,14) in a manually operable device (10). In order to guide a user to the location of manually usable means (11,14) which require to be manually actuated or to on or from which items require to manually entered or removed, the invention provides an air supply (17) and one or more nozzles connected to the air supply (17) to provide one or more jets of air. The nozzles (16) are stationed and directed such that a user of the device (10) can sense the position and direction of the air jet or jets so as to find the position of the manually usable means (11,14). The invention can be used to help those who may have a visual impairment to operate an automatic teller machine. The different areas of the machine can be found from air jets which come from the nozzles (16) stationed at the different areas of the machine, such areas including a card entry slot (11), a keyboard (14) and a cash dispensing slot (13). The invention can also be applied to help locate manually usable areas of other machines such as vending machines.

A video material presentation device (50) provides promotional or other video material which is presented on displays at the customer stations. Video material is presented to customers when the customer terminal is not in communication with the service provider terminal. The customer stations are readily installed and configured in the transaction facility to maximize the floor space available for other purposes.

摘要： An automated banking machine (10) includes an enclosure (12). The enclosure has an interior area (14) in which serviceable components (48, 52, 64, 68) are positioned on rollout trays (46, 50, 62, 66). The enclosure has a rear opening (18) which is selectively accessible through service doors (54, 58, 60). The enclosure further includes a front opening (16) which is bounded by a frame (20). A fascia (22) having input devices thereon is removably positionable in said frame. The fascia is held in engagement with said frame by a disengageable latch including locks (94, 98) and latching brackets (92). The locks are connected to release arms (102, 110) which enable releasing the disengageable latch once access to the interior area has been gained by opening the service doors. Serviceable components may be readily serviced by extending the components out of the interior area of the machine on the rollout trays. Adjacent rollout trays may be selectively extended and retracted to enable a service technician to service the components while occupying a minimum of floor space.
