    • The present invention relates to a straightening machine (1) having a straightening roller rapid-change system, having an upper and a lower housing (7, 3) for receiving a plurality of upper and lower straightening rollers (9, 11), all or only some of which are driven and serve for straightening metallic material, wherein the upper and lower straightening rollers (9, 11) are mounted at each of their ends (56) and the driven straightening rollers are connected at one of their ends to a drive shaft (21, 23), and wherein the drive shafts (21, 23) can be driven via at least one distributor gearbox (19) by means of at least one motor (17), and the drive shafts (21, 23), the at least one distributor gearbox (19) and the at least one motor (17) are situated on one side of the straightening machine (1). The straightening machine according to the invention is distinguished in that the upper straightening rollers (9), at the side situated opposite the side of the drive shafts (21), are each rotatably mounted by means of at least one rolling bearing (39) in an upper, front bearing strip (25) which can be detachably connected to the upper housing (7), in that the lower straightening rollers (11), at the side situated opposite the side of the drive shafts (23), are each rotatably mounted by means of at least one rolling bearing (39) in a lower, front bearing strip (27) which can be detachably connected to the lower housing (3), in that, following removal of the upper/lower front bearing strip (25, 27), the upper/lower straightening rollers (9, 11) are accessible and can be moved individually out of the straightening machine by an axial movement, in that the straightening roller rapid-change system has a receiving device (59) for receiving the upper/lower straightening rollers (9, 11) that have been moved out, and in that the receiving device (59) has, for the purpose of mounting the straightening rollers (9, 11), a plurality of system strips (67, 68) which run transversely to the axial direction of the straightening rollers (9, 11) and have indentations (77) on their upper side for receiving the straightening rollers (9, 11). The present invention also relates to a method for rapidly changing straightening rollers of a straightening machine.
