摘要： Le procédé décrit, qui sert à produire de l'hydroxyde d'aluminium, consiste à faire réagir de l'eau en phase liquide avec de l'aluminium à pH supérieur à 12,4 environ. Dans cette gamme de pH, l'hydroxyde d'aluminium est produit à des débits acceptables à la fois pour des superficies de particules d'aluminium supérieures à 75 000 mm2 par gramme et une superficie de particules d'aluminium inférieure à environ 50 000 mm2 par gramme et même inférieure à 20 mm2 par gramme. Dans une variante, la présente invention se caractérise par la production d'hydroxyde d'aluminium par réaction d'aluminium avec de l'eau en phase liquide contenant de la choline. Des particules d'hydroxyde d'aluminium ayant des morphologies uniques sont ainsi obtenues.

A preferred product consists essentially of about 7.6 to 8.6% zinc, about 1.6 to 2.2% magnesium, about 2 to 2.8% copper and at least one element selected from zirconium, vanadium and hafnium present in an amount not exceeding about 0.2%, the balance aluminum and incidental elements and impurities. The alloy product is suitable for aerospace applications.

摘要： A treatment of aluminum alloy produces an unrecrystallized Al-Zn-Mg thin gauge flat rolled product having improved levels of strength and fracture toughness. The method comprises providing a body of a Zn-Mg containing aluminum base alloy, working the body to a flat rolled product and then subjecting the product to a ramp anneal followed by solution heat treating, quenching and aging as shown in Fig. 1. The rolled product may be subjected to an isothermal soak before annealing. The working may comprise intermediate heat treating.

An article is formed from a solidified mass, and said tag adhered thereto.
